According to Public Advisory Six from the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Storm Gordon presently has sustained max winds of 50 MPH and is moving WNW, 300° at a nice 17 MPH clip. This could place Gordon, as a hurricane coming ashore near the mouth of the Mississippi River around 2 am Wednesday.

A Hurricane Warning has been issued from the mouth of the Pearl River to the Alabama-Florida border. The Storm Surge Warning extended eastward to Dauphin Island, AL from Shell Beach.
