It seems as if Louisiana's own exterminator has gotten caught himself.  News broke yesterday that William Bretherton aka "Billy the Exterminator" and his wife were brought into custody for drug charges.

On April 28, 2012 Bossier City police responded to a 911 hang up call from a room at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel at the Louisiana Boardwalk. When officers arrived at the room they made contact with William and Mary Bretherton of Benton, Louisiana and found suspected synthetic marijuana and a device commonly used to smoke narcotics. Police took custody of the suspected marijuana for testing at the Northwest Louisiana Crime Lab in Shreveport.

The police department was notified last week that the substance came back positive from the crime lab as synthetic marijuana and arrest warrants were subsequently issued for both on misdemeanor charges of possession of schedule I of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The couple was contacted by police about the warrants and the two came to the police department on June 1 and turned themselves in. Both bonded out of the Bossier City Jail later that same day.

Billy is well-known for his hit TV show "Billy the Exterminator" on A&E. The show follows him and his family as their extermination company, VexCon, handles all types of infestations throughout the South.  At this time they are actually "casting" for the new season, so if you have a serious infestation of roaches or a cougar problem why not hit up Billy?
