I was born Port Arthur, Texas, and left for good after graduating from high school. I attended Thomas Jefferson High School, Sam Houston State University, BBA, RAB, CRMC, and became a broadcaster on 25 October 1976. Over the years, I've broadcast in Beaumont, Houston, Denver and Lake Charles.
