College Baseball

The McNeese Cowboys are set to host Stephen F. Austin in a three game series this weekend in Lake Charles at Joe Miller Ballpark. The Cowboys are currently 12-5 overall and 3-0 in Southland Conference play. The Lumberjacks come into the game 8-10 overall with this series being their Southland Conference opener. First pitch for game one tonight is scheduled for 6:00. First pitch for game two tomorrow is scheduled for 3:00. First pitch for the final game on Sunday is scheduled for 1:00.

College Softball

The McNeese Cowgirls welcome in the Lady Bearkats of Sam Houston State for a three game game series this weekend in Lake Charles at Cowgirl Diamond. The Cowgirls come into the series 16-10 overall and 3-0 in Southland Conference play. Sam Houston State comes into the series 12-11 overall and 3-0 in Southland Conference play. First pitch for game one tonight is scheduled for 6:00. Tomorrow will feature a double header with first pitch for game one scheduled for 12:00 with first pitch of the second game scheduled for 2:00.

NBA Basketball

The New Orleans Pelicans will host the Houston Rockets tonight at the Smoothie King Center. The Pelicans are looking to make a late push to the playoffs and Houston will be looking to maintain the division lead and gaining ground on the second place Spurs and first place Warriors. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 and the game can be seen on Fox Sports New Orleans.

The Pelicans will also be in action on Sunday when they host the Timberwolves in New Orleans. The Timberwolves are currently 28-39 on the season. Tip-off for the game on Sunday is scheduled for 5:00.

The Rockets will return to action on Saturday when they travel up to face the Denver Nuggets. The Nugget are currently 32-35 on the season. Tip-off for that game tomorrow is scheduled for 8:30.
