Our McNeese Soccer Cowgirls are looking to bounce back after a hard battle last Sunday with Houston Baptist that saw the Cowgirls fall for the first time at home this season in double overtime 2-1. The Cowgirls now 12-6-1 and 6-3-1 in Southland Conference play are bucking up for the seasons last match Friday night in Lake Charles at 7 pm.

Cowgirls Attempt To Set Season Record

A win over Lamar would give the Cowgirls a new single season win record of 13 but Lamar hits town riding on two consecutive conference wins against Houston Baptist and Texas A&M Corpus Christi in the past ten days.

Friday nights 7 pm meeting will be the 12th for the two schools since their respective soccer programs begin, the Cardinals lead all-time 6-5 having won four out of the last five. So the Cowgirls have triple incentives; win, win their 13th of the season (a record) and even the series between Beaumont and Lake Charles.
