Tropical Storm Harvey is intensifying an at 10 AM according to Hurricane Hunter Aircraft has max sustained winds of 65 MPH and the storm is now quickly strengthening.
In the 10 AM Advisory 16 The National Hurricane Center predicted Harvey could be a 'major hurricane' when it approaches the middle Texas coast. The storm has picked up speed from 2 to now 10 MPH in its movement NNW.
All previous warnings and advisories remain in effect. Rainfall amounts from Harvey are expected to be 12-20 inches and up to 30 inches in isolated areas of Texas and the Texas Hill Country, with rainfall accumulation of 5-12 inches in parts of the Hill Country and into SW and Central Louisiana.
