The Tuesday evening weather should be just a degree off-perfection at 6 pm when the LSU Tigers throw the first pitch to our McNeese Cowgirls, in Baton Rouge.

The 20-21 Cowgirls will face a ranked opponent in LSU for the 6th time this season, but the ladies are in a winning mood after the SLC sweep at Abilene Christian this past weekend.

Team Leaders

The Cowgirls look to Sr Justyce McClain's bat, she leads the team hitting .382 including 50 hits, 27 runs and has stolen 19.

The stolen base leader is Jr Cori McCrary with 25. Add in her 21 RBIs off 44 hits and eight doubles means you add up just these two and the potential for McNeese runs is high for tonight. The rest of the team is up to the challenge too.

Cowgirl Pitching Staff

McNeese will continue the five-pitcher rotation with Fr Saleen Flores (4-3) who has the team low ERA 1.39. Amber Coons, 3-3, 1.87 ERA, Caroline Settle 5-7, Alexsandra Flores 8-8, and Ashley Koncir.

The staff carries a team-wide 2.63 ERA placing them at fourth in the league.
