Jerry Lewis Hospitalized
Comedian and Muscular Dystrophy champion Jerry Lewis has been hospitalized today in Las Vegas and taking anti-biotics intravenously to battle a urinary tract infection.
Lewis the 91 year-old zany comedian whose physical manic brand of comedy flourished somewhere between Curly Howard and Michael Richard's "Kramer" character, is expected to fully recover in time to head to Canada later in June on a movie shoot.

For so many Lewis stands out in mind as an annual fixture on radio and later television raising money in the Labor Day Muscular Dsytrophy telethon, not only entertaining millions but raising many millions for research to relieve the condition.
