You gotta love people that love to dance, it's really an athletic endeavor of sorts and an artful expression of physicality. Whether it's jitterbugging and two-stepping to a Cajun band or a graceful plie' into a saute across a ballet stage, dancing is a wonderful physical expression of art.

The Lake Charles Civic Ballet (LCCB) was born in 1969 and for fifty years has brought creative movement and a wide variety of dance forms to SWLA audiences from classical and jazz pieces to more contemporary expressions.
