As we all prepare for another few days of Eskimo-like winter weather, the calendar moves ahead anyway to more spring-like events, to the opening of the 2019 Softball Season for the McNeese Cowgirls.

The Cowgirl Classic begins Thursday and runs through Sunday and includes notable teams such as #14 (pre-season) ranked Arkansas, Campbell, Lipscomb, and Samford. While fans may be shivering with their hot dogs, the action on the field is going to be red hot.
