There are literally millions of white vehicles on the road. Once there was a poll as to which color vehicle receives the most speeding tickets, people answered mostly red. They were thinking of sports cars, but the answer is white, simply because there are millions and millions of all makes and models, painted white.

But the sheriff is on the hunt for this one particular white pickup truck as part of the investigation of a hit and run that occurred on Sunday, September 29 on Tomahawk Drive in Moss Bluff.

Witnesses told investigators the truck traveled off the roadway and struck a mailbox.

The vehicle will have damages to the passenger side bumper and front quarter panel and is believed to be a 2012 or later model GMC Sierra with an extended cab.
