One man's junk is another man's treasure. The old idiom will be right at home when more than 300 vendors camp at the Burton Coliseum on November 9-10 from 9 am to 5 pm each day.

You like garage, barn and yard sales? Flea Fest is a market and festival on nearly four covered acres of almost anything and everything. Antiques, retro and vintage items, toys, collectibles, gifts, jewelry and the really fun thing about these events is the idea that you may find or see something you've never seen before but always wanted.

There's more than just bartering, haggling and buying going on at Flea Fest. This year will feature a petting zoo, and adoptable pets seeking Forever Homes, pony rides, face painting and other festival trappings. Food? This is Louisiana isn't it? Of course, food vendors will be out aplenty providing battered, dipped and fried goodies along with candies and other treats.

Kids under twelve will be admitted at no charge, otherwise tickets are $5 at the gate. General parking at Burton will be free, but VIP will be $2 per vehicle.
