Two Fourteen Year Olds Arrested For Threatening Barbe
On Wednesday (6 Nov) around 2:30pm, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office received a call from Barbe High School in Lake Charles. The complaint was that two fourteen year old boys were threatening to shoot up the school.
Upon the initial investigation, Detective Greg Jordan and CPSO Safe School Officers Josh Smith and Remy Miller were advised one of the boys stated he was going to shoot up the school "after he went to a gun store." The second boy advised, "he has his gun ready."
Both were arrested and charged with terrorizing, one at the Juvenile Detention Center and the other at the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Multi-Agency Resource Center.
